McLean County 4-H is excited to kick off the new year with the return of their popular clubs, including the Lego Robotics, Teen, and Livestock Clubs. September marked the first meetings for these groups, bringing together new and returning members. Each club offers unique opportunities: Lego Robotics fosters creativity and teamwork through programming and building, the Teen Club focuses on leadership and community service, and the Livestock Club is ideal for learning about agriculture and animal care, even for those without livestock.
In addition, the McLean County 4-H is hosting a fun Pumpkin and Gourd Decorating Contest on October 19th at Myer Creek Park, Shelter 1. The event is open to youth 18 and under, with judging starting at 2 PM and winners announced at 3 PM. Prizes will be awarded to the most creative entries, making it a great way to celebrate the season with friends and family.
